SubSniper - Smart Subscription Management

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to provide our service:

Account information: Email address for authentication
Subscription data: Detected subscriptions, amounts, renewal dates
Email metadata: Sender, subject and date of subscription-related emails
Invoices and attachments: PDFs and images of invoices from email attachments are stored

2. What We DON'T Do

✕We don't store full email texts, only extracted data

✕We don't sell data to third parties

✕We don't use data for advertising

✕We don't share individual data with partners

3. Email Scanning

When you connect your email, our service only scans for:

Payment confirmations and invoices
Welcome emails from subscription services
Renewal notifications
Price change notifications

We read email content to extract subscription data, but do not store full email texts. Invoice attachments are stored.

4. Data Storage & Security

We take the security of your data seriously:

All data is stored encrypted (AWS KMS)
Communication is secured with TLS
Servers are located in the EU (AWS eu-west-1)
AWS security standards and best practices

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the following rights regarding your data:

View what data we have

Correction

Correct inaccurate data

Deletion

Delete all your data

Export

Download your data (JSON/CSV)

6. Cookies

We only use essential cookies:

Session cookies: To keep you logged in
Preference cookies: Language and theme settings

We don't use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, including backups.
